Who Am I?
My name is Orakro. By profession, I’m a high school teacher, but beyond the classroom, I’m a dedicated snake enthusiast, wildlife explorer, and proud reptile owner. My love for snakes has been a lifelong passion, and through this website, I aim to share my knowledge and experiences with people who are curious about these fascinating creatures.
In my free time, I enjoy venturing into forests and wild habitats to observe and study different types of snakes and other animals. These adventures fuel my curiosity and give me firsthand experiences that I bring back to this site.

At home, I live with a variety of animal companions, including five pet snakes and other wonderful creatures. Caring for them has given me invaluable insights into reptile behavior, health, and husbandry — insights I now share with you here on SnakesInfo.com.

- Shadow (Ball Python)
- Calm, gentle, and always curious, Shadow was my first snake and remains close to my heart.
- Emerald (Green Tree Python)
- A true beauty with bright green scales, Emerald loves climbing and misty environments.
- Blaze (Corn Snake)
- Active and adventurous, Blaze’s vibrant orange patterns make him stand out.
- Fang (Western Hognose Snake)
- Small but full of character, Fang sometimes plays dead when startled — always a funny sight!
- Ruby (Rosy Boa)
- Slow, relaxed, and perfect for handling, Ruby is often my “classroom ambassador” for teaching about snakes.

- Leo (Leopard Gecko) – My tiny lizard buddy who loves basking and munching on mealworms.
- Kiro (African Grey Parrot) – Intelligent, talkative, and often my research assistant.
- Tortie (Red-footed Tortoise) – A slow-moving grazer who loves fresh veggies.
- Milo & Luna (Rescue Cats) – Curious observers of my reptile friends, always watching from a distance.
